Description
Jaskoniškės Nature Trail winds through a sandy pine forest traditionally known as ‘smalinyčia’, where people used to collect pine resin. The 1.4 km trail is marked with arrows and information boards. It follows the shore of Lake Sartai, where several campsites offer places to rest or stay in a tent after your walk. This area has long been popular with campers. A Cross of Vytis built by young members of the Lithuanian Riflemen's Union during Lithuania's independence period is one of the trail's stops.
