Description
The peninsula of Lake Zarasaitis has been known since interwar Lithuania. In 1933, one of Lithuania's first open-water swimming pools with a diving platform was built here. In 1965, the wooden platform was replaced by a ten-metre-high concrete diving platform in the open-water pool, the only one of its kind in Lithuania. In 2014, the beach was renovated to a design by the a2sm architectural team, giving it a contemporary look. Convenient access, improved facilities and pleasant surroundings attract visitors on sunny summer days, whether for relaxation or a little adrenaline.
