Description
In the heart of Zarasai, next to the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, there is a square with a sculpture titled “Metamorphosis” (1988, sculptor A. Smilingis) and a memorial to the victims of the Holocaust. Tourists visiting Zarasai’s cultural heritage sites stop by this square to admire the impressive sculpture and pay their respects to the victims of the Holocaust.
