The “Elnio sapnas” rural tourism farmstead, located in the villages of Pakniškiai and Užtiltė in the Zarasai District, is a wonderful place for a family getaway in a peaceful setting by a lake and a forest. It’s simply a wonderful opportunity to spend time in the embrace of nature, while also observing the red deer, spotted deer, mouflons, and fallow deer that live in the surrounding forest. You can go fishing in both the lake and the pond to catch fish for lunch or dinner. We have many years of experience in providing rural tourism services. Over that time, we’ve improved and grown. Through our long history, we’ve come to understand what our guests need. We’ve put everything we have to offer into this family business: privacy (a separate area for each cottage), and everything needed for those seeking relaxation and peace and quiet with their families. At our farmstead, located in the Zarasai district, each house has its own private dock, a boat, a children’s playground, a gazebo, a terrace, a basketball hoop, a barbecue area, and a campfire pot. The cottage features 4 bedrooms, 2 restrooms, a shower, a fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, washing machine) with dishes and a coffee maker. Next to the cottage is a sauna, which can be booked as needed. Guests looking for a peaceful getaway can go boating or ride water bikes. The farmstead was developed in accordance with the implementation rules of the measure “Promotion of Rural Tourism Activities” under the 2007–2013 Lithuanian Rural Development Program and other legal acts, following the completion of the project “Rural Tourism with a Wildlife Reserve,” two new cottages were built near Lake Plavys, along with a sauna, all within the wildlife reserve grounds. In 2015, the “Elnio sapnas” farmstead was recognized as the best-maintained rural tourism farmstead in the Dusetos region.
