UAB EMERTA is a company in the Salakas area that breeds and processes African snails (Helix Aspersa maxima), produces snail products and offers tastings and educational programmes. Helix Aspersa Maxima snails are a highly valued, high-quality food rich in protein. They are described as a tasty and healthy meat product without fat or cholesterol. Private snail tastings can be booked at your home, office or another venue. The team brings the necessary equipment and runs a tasting with an educational programme. Groups are welcomed to the farm for guided visits. Learn how snails are raised and see their facilities. The farm also keeps Achatina pet snails, which visitors can hold and touch. Special programmes are available for children's groups.

Frozen Helix Aspersa Maxima snails in Burgundy sauce are available (net weight 100 g, 12 pieces in an aluminium foil tray). Store at -18 °C; shelf life is one year from production.
